A Vuka Africa Business Empowerment initiative

Farm with us.
Grow with us.

Vuka Africa Business Empowerment builds commercial livestock enterprises with Zimbabwean farmers. We train the people who run them, then we put capital, stock and a market behind the land they already have.

Now operating in Bulawayo, Matabeleland North, Matabeleland South, the Midlands and surrounding areas.

The department

A new arm of Vuka Africa, built around the farmer

Business Empowerment is where Vuka Africa puts its balance sheet behind Zimbabwean enterprise. The first sector we are backing is livestock, because it is where a farmer with land and labour can move fastest into commercial production.

The work runs in two stages. First we train — a structured programme that turns young Zimbabweans into competent commercial livestock managers. Then we partner — placing stock, feed, veterinary support and a guaranteed offtake market onto farms across the provinces we operate in.

No farmer is asked to buy their way in. You bring land and labour. We bring everything else.
